going back to ko tao, last time i just used a cheap underwater camera,

so the pics arnt very good and just blue with the foggy out line of fish so a bit

disapointed!

any ideas on a half decent under water camera! (i think it will probly need a flash!)

dont want to spend the earth as the trip will cost enuff!

cheers in advance lads

p,s most of the pics will be taken in about 15ft of water or less!

yeah ebay was going to be my first port of call as im on a budget! (200 quid max)

just i know nothing about them and wot i should be looking for!

good makes etc! also how they should be used to get the best pics. lighting level, depth, range etc

most of the stuff ill be photoing will be at about 10 to 2ft range and fairly static, tho i wont to get some pics of the faster blacktip reef sharks and triggers!

Have a look at this: http://www.morrisphoto.co.uk/ProductDetail...goryid~138.html

The camera used to be called a Cruise Cam, its cheap at around £30 but it is waterproof to 25 Metres and takes reasonable pictures.

Sue has used it for snorkelling dive shots in Cuba and the Islas Medes with reasonable results

One of the Dive forums has pictures taken with this camera:

lol no way! the bags ar designed for accidental imersion in water! not for under water!

nice idea tho! might invest any way just for the beach as its sand proof!
