Most of my work photography (photos I take at work for my own records/interest) has been achieved using a Samsung Galaxy SII. I recently upgraded to an S5, after 2.5 years, they have amazing cameras for such tiny lenses. I hardly ever take my DSLR out now unless I'm specifically looking to take long shots.

These were taken with the SII last year.

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

To all those budding photographers Do yourself and your descendants a great favour ,go through all your family photos and gently write on the back or title your electronic photo with the subject within them .

I as the oldest inherited all my parents photos and theres lots ! And i am certain all the people in them are related to my families ancestors but half of them cannot be identified ,unfortunately when your parents and grandparents die its damned hard to ask them if this is great uncle ted or great aunt maud !

Not just people but pets and places if they have any meaning within your family .

You may not feel a need to know now but you may as i do feel a need to know these things later in life when you may need to pass on this box of history to your eldest in one photo i am certainly the only person left on earth to know a dogs name in a photo ,the photo now has its occupant named ,who knows in 50 years one of my great grandkids is wondering i wonder what grandads dogs name was ,110 years after its death in some way it would still be living ,had i not it would just have been a picture of a long dead dog

There is also a picture of a cottage ,i lived there when i was 1 ,had i the urge to go there to become one with my roots i could not ,i had been told many years ago where it was but now its forgotten and the picture sits silent ,i may not wish to do this but perhaps a decendant may have this urge but now unless they are extremly lucky its denied to them

Have a sunday afternoon just you or your family and a soft pencil and write history

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle
