finally had a chance to sit and fiddle with my new editing software. quite happy with the results:

So would i be if the software made you catch nice fish like that

Our pond is very strange the fish go through the motions but you never see any small carp or tench just road ,rudd and perch .

I like soft rods my ones are through action (not as light as yours though) casting is restricted as is long distance control but wonderfull for those last minute dives when they spot you or the net

to be fair this lake is like a fish pond at home! the fish can literally be fed at your feet and happily caught...its not hard.

the only change to that is the fish like the one in the vid...she is nicknamed Bianca (because she is so red like Bianca from eastenders?? go figure)..the owners transferred her a about a dozen larger carp from the main lake into this smaller one. they are really crafty buggers to catch, especially with the pressure from the smaller fish as well.

to be honest I could happily sit there all day just recording them feed and seeing what underwater footage I could grab! LOL when you slow it down its amazing the stuff you see that you never seem to see when your looking! I have a water tight pouch for my iPhone I was gonna try sinking that and using the 120fps slo mo amera underwater! might be really cool!

 

the nice thing is the pen rod is just so tactile in such a situation....fishing tight in....dad and mother both struggled to use their rods because the fish were feeding too close in. but then again they could easily drop next to lilies further out etc....

still..bloody great days fun...which is what its all about! fun!
