Trotted red maggot. There are quite a few salmon in the river (so we were told - didn't see any!) and the bailiff asked that we didn't use worms...

Bugger, no worms?

I was hoping to use worms for chubbing. :(

Blast I was going to use worms for the chub as well. :schmoll:

Does anyone know if cheese paste works or is it back to breadflake?

After a certain age, if you don't wake up aching in every joint, you are probably dead.

Tried cheese past last time around but didnt catch on it. But then as far as I recall no chub came out that day. Think I'll take some sprats and mackerel chunks instead and three bottles of mulled wine are already in the car with the red hot kettle.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Don't you just love boses and their 'rush job' - much more of a rush than the tripple mega rush job I was doing, having had to leave the mere rush jobs I was doing!

So I will struggle to get over before lunchtime (I think I'll be lucky to get over at all!).

So all you folks have a good time & catch a few for me if I don't make it......

Just been on metcheck and it looks like a cold one! :cold:

That can't be right.

If I'm there there will be high winds and rain, perhaps blizzards! (It's traditional!!)

(ps Grayling and Chub don't mind the cold :) )

The cold won't hurt you, you will have to run from swim to swim instead of walking. :)

I remeber one of the Test fish-ins being really cold, along with gail force winds too.

Mind you how that tree missed Ferret I do not know. One lucky man he his ;)
