saw these chaps at the bottom of the garden a moment ago,

Hey Jeepster, your back lawn is ready for cutting.

What a terrific outlook you've got there. Now don't go worrying about upsetting us in suburbia when you post your photos of your idylic location <_< , we're not jealous at all that you get deer visiting your garden, , nope not jealous one bit! :nonono:

finepix, love the mallards, the female is very sharp. Do you find your 350D to be a lot quicker than your Fuji? I know my 5D is lightning fast compared to my old HP945, your 350 is supposed to be quicker still, a real bonus for shooting wildlife, although Mallards do make very obliging subjects.

I got this one a few weeks ago, which is a tad burnt out on its breast, but I love the colour of its beak: -

Hi 'Rabster'

Yes it is a lot quicker, but I'm still getting the hang of it. And the images are only sharp when they're in focus, which isn't that often

Slowly but surely as they say :D

I think I'm going to have some 'burnt' issues in a min. I'm just downloading some swan images I took this morning, the sun was really bright, and being on the edge of a pond I didn't have too many options about where to stand. I also don't have a polarizing filter yet ... we'll see.

:)
