I'm now trying FireFox 1.5 and having no probs.

I'll see if I can upgrade to 1.5.0.1 and see if that effects it.

Interesting - launching FireFox did kill my IE browser, which had been happily working all morning.

Guest NickInTheNorth

Elton I'm running 1.5.0.1 with no problem

Ant, not an expert with IE by any means, but one way is go to internet options, On the "general" tab click on "Settings", then click "view files" they'll be in there somewhere.

fantastic, they got that feature running at last :-)

On the front page of the forum, there's a facility to clear all cookies set by this board - anyone tried that?

Ant, I'd expect you to have to log in if you clear the cookies. It's the subsequent actions I'm interested in.

Ah.

If I come onto the site and I am not logged in and then click the "delete cookies set by this board" bit on the homepage I suddenly become logged in.

If you get what I mean. :headhurt:

Then if I leave and come back, i'm again not logged in until I click "delete cookies set by this board".
