Household bits+pieces that are useful for fishing?

Oih DG I have never kept live baits in the bath.....40 gallon plastic header tanks yes

Dont let Wardy know though or the RSPCA er or the EA erm in fact I dont keep live baits full stop it is just a rumour put round by Peter Collins to take the heat of him a bit

You can get about 30 watch batteries on a card from £land. The larger ones fit in tip lights, they might not last quite as long as the ones as you buy from the tackle shop but theres not much difference and £1 for 10 batteries is not bad value

It just takes an inventive mind! There are stacks of things in non tackle shops that we can use. Bubble wrap, unhooking mats. Foam camping mattresses, unhooking mats again but also great for dividers and padding in camera and tackle bags. PVC plumbing supplies, leggo for anglers!!!

Yup, got me a card of them too ... and am still using them after a year.

 

Prob is, when you go into £land, you end-up spending £1 ... times 10 !

must be a postcode lottery ,our local pound shop in aldershot does 6 for a quid ,although it says soft its like wipeing your butt with a dogfish ,tesco sells 12 economy for £1.18 and its softer

5 A4 doc folders for £1 only 69p in local shop ,envelopes cheaper localy and their not with prestuck flaps :mad:
