Definitely if I have anything to do with it :D

Zippy I think you should go for something completely different forget the Prowlers and Scuppers you need a:

http://www.oceankayak.com/zesttwoexp.html or http://www.oceankayak.com/malibutwoxl.html

They're going to be all the rage this year you know, you could buy a puppy to take along with you. :D

I'm sure that Simon will put you right when he returns, I believe from other postings that there is not much speed wise between the Scupper Pro and Prowler 15, so if it's speed your after with the comfort of being able to cool of your toes then the Prowler 15 is the girl for you. Don't forget that the cockpit is smaller on the 15 compared with the 13, but then again it does have some great flat surfaces up front with the bonus of being able to fit a further two flush mounts behind the hatch if you wanted them.

Thanks for that Dave :)

I should have said in my previous post.I was after the speed diference between the p13 and p15,I think there is only 2lb in weight difference.

I like the idea of having 2 flush mounts up front ,behind the hatch though.

Heres a quick review from a KFS member who has experience of both P13 and P15. His thoughts seem similar to Terry's.

reviewer: Steve R from Alemeda, CA

This is now my fourth OK kayak, Scrambler, Scupper, Prowler and now the 13'. Well I think this might be the best kayak I have been in from them, the Prowler 15' was alittle big for me to handle and I like to fish some lakes in also. I had it out on the ocean and it did the trick also. I think it might be a little slower than the 15' but he its giving up 2 feet but it does turn on a dime and track great. I do wish I would have gottn it with a rudder though.

I think the choice will come down to whether you don't mind managing the P15 off the water or not. Perhaps Yakity can add comment on this, he must have had quite a few trips under his belt with his P15 by now.

If you did go for the Prowler 13, then unless you need a second yak for

family or friends it may be best to sell the Caper as I don't think there will a significant much speed/distance advantage between the two. I think the main difference between the P13 and Caper is that the P13 will handle the rough stuff better and you will make more progress against the wind if it picks up. I may be be talking out of my @rse on this :D:) Starvin may know he has both :)

Hi Kishkash,

I know what you feel like, I picked up my Prowler 15 a couple of weeks ago. By the way if you want a trip out sometime give me a shout Im only in Exeter.

As for the two seater the misses is bad enough in the car never mind on the back of a Kayak :-)
