surprisingly sharks teeth are the commonest fossils found (not that one though its fresh!) sharks loose thousands during their lifetimes ,you almost trip over them at highcliffe and fish teeth too when theres been rain

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

call me sceptical but that tooth looks very pristine to have been found knocking about a beach :rolleyes:

they are tough things the ones we find at highcliffe are still razor sharp ,the base turns to stone but the "blade" is as it was

yer but do they have holes drilled through them for a chain to go through, like the one in the picture ?? :rolleyes::rolleyes:

It must be true!

 

I dropped a mackerel head down the side of Folkestone pier today, and had my trace bitten through.

 

It could only have been a GW.

 

Now where did I put the number for that Sun reporter? :)

Leon did the makeral head thing realy happen, years ago poeple used to fish tight to the wall at Folkstone for conger.
