Boilie Making

Hi, So we are thinking of making our own boilies, we are going to get a Boilie Roller, but we are just a bit confused about ingredient, so would it be OK to use, 4oz of Semolina, and 4oz of Soya Flour, add whatever flavour or colourings we want, and then 2 eggs, and boil for 30 ish, and leave to dry, would this be OK to start boilie making Thanks.

Dan,

why in the world would you want to make your own boilies? There must be at least 3 companies making boilies. There must be at least a half dozen flavors. All cheaper than you can make them yourself.

That's a pretty poor boilie, I wouldn't eat it if I were a Carp. There will be something more appealing in another swim.

Thanks, but its just something that I would like to try, I don't want to try make a business out of it, I just want to try to make some myself as it will be awesome if I caught on something that I made myself.

Quite right, I'm not into boilies myself, but I understand the thinking.

It is just like catching fish on flies you have tied yourself (or better still, tied using feathers from birds you have shot yourself)

...and if I were into boilies, Ajay's links would be where I would start .

Good luck with the project.
