latest from TAT they are looking for information. The last time information was collected was within the 2012 cefas survey where TAT claimed they would go to the meetings (6 in total) come back and would inform the rsa. but would not take part in the data collection. The reason given at the time why TAT would not help in the collection of data from anglers was because it did not trust defra with the information. Take note of that won't you guys. NOT ONE WORD was brought back from those meetings, not one word was uttered, yet TAT decided to use the data collected from the cefas survey and take it to the minister etc, within their claim that the bass stock was falling off a cliff. I kid you not. The subsequent result of TAT using this data was the bass take ban and the pathetic bag limit of one fish for six months of the year per day, per angler.

Now the point of this post is copy of TAT's latest attempt to gain data and information from the rsa, they wish to use this information to get a BETTER DEAL. They bloody well caused it in the first place. BTW TAT, because of the restrictions I can tell you how many fish where landed by myself, NONE, ZILTCH, NADA, you fools, you were instrumental in the ban, so you would know how many was landed in the first bloody place. Go away.

quote:

The Angling Trust is calling on bass anglers to help us get a better deal on recreational fishing.

Together with the Bass Anglers’ Sportfishing Society (BASS), we are gathering evidence on the economic impacts on charter boats, the tackle trade and the local economy of the unfair landing restrictions that were imposed on recreational bass anglers last December.

The Trust will be carrying out a number of surveys to assess this and are appealing to bass anglers to complete a survey being conducted by Southampton University. It should take no more than five minutes.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

If Joe Public stop eating Bass, he can always eat Mullet, no restrictions on catching them, I'm told. There was a single catch of 10-15 tonnes recently, I was told.
