Nah, in this one case - gentlemen first. Wait a minute, who am I talking about here? :yeah: If Newt could figure a way to do it, he would bring our trolling motor but don't give the old guy any ideas... :P

Andrew,

I just tried to lift the bag he has full of fishing gear and I can't guarantee the entire trolling motor isn't in there. :headhurt: I told him I was sure there was fishing gear in the UK but he must bring anything and everything possible that you guys may not have but might like to check out. He's spoiled by having Bass Pro just 20 minutes from the house.

As to batteries, you're welcome to use those out of my Creative Zen, Gameboy or camera. Think they would work? :bleh::bleh::bleh:

It's sounding like being around you and Budgie will be like being around my brothers. Oh happy day :bigemo_harabe_net-163:

You UK guys are awesome. I used to like the occasional 'oar when I was younger but never tried a pair of them.

Errr - what, exactly, does that have to do with fishing?

And we like matched pairs, with a bit of leather round them. Good, long strokes, bliss! Steady, rhythmatic in and out, what more could a man ask for?

All depends what you want to catch, or not catch. Doesn't it Peter?

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

So long as I catch up the boat ahead of me!

Just a thought, at the Cambridge/Oxford rowing race, the oars are controlled by a cox. Oxymorons can be quite amusing. The classic being on an office in the Pentagon, U.S. Intelligence ;););)
