Recomend a compass

Job done

 

Went fpr a tr-31 in the end. I liked the look on the x 15 on the anglers afloat caper but the front bulkhead on the tarpon looked a little steep.

 

I did have to do 3 mods to the tr 31; 1 was to heat and re-shape the bracket mount slightly, 2 was to elongate the screw holes to give proper keel alignment 3 was to put 2 washers between the hull and bracket on 1 side to give a good level.

The only reason to have to modify is if you want to keep room for full length adjustment on the foot pedals which I need as I'm a bit on the long side.

 

Will post some pic's later.

1 on the lure is worth 2 from the bait.

Don't think you'll be needing it today down at Stackpole....might be needing some sun cream though! :sun:
