Recommended Posts

I'm off to stackpole tomorrow afternoon around 3 o clock for a sesion on the Bass. Anyone from the Pembrokeshire area welcome to join me.

Weather looks fairly hot with onshore breeze 3-4 vairable. Low tide at 1527, 1.7m. High tide at 2202, 7.3m.

1 on the lure is worth 2 from the bait.

Hi GB, I'd be there with you tomorrow but unfortunately I've been lumbered with family and work...one of them would be bad enough, but both! :D

Anyway have a great session and I'll hope to join you another time,

Tightlines, Art

PS...let us know how you get on!

Thought I better do a follow up (only because I have some pic's now)

Had a 6 hour session from 4 till 10. Makerel galore, couple of small Pollack and 1 Bass of around 6 lb landed (lost 2 at the side not happy, should have taken the net). Sorry no fishy photo's as I only picked up a new camera today and did not want to risk it on the water.

I pulled into Barafundle for some tea so decided to get the camera out for a few shot's of the Tampon when she is fully kitted out. So here ya go.

All in all a good day but in typical British style I will say it was too damm hot :sun::sun:

Here's my boge up anchor reel. Works quite well just needs to be lighter (working on that one)

This ones for Darnsarf. Yes I wear a daft hat too.

And finally it's time to come home, the launch/retrive. Stackpole Quay. (I was brave enough to get the camera out as it was flat calm in the harbour)

Only 1 couple at stackpole for about an hour. Went close in around 8 o clock and not a soul to be seen, was very peacefull. That's what I bought the yak for was the independence and peace and quiet, but still being able to fish the rock marks.

1 on the lure is worth 2 from the bait.
