hey all im going to loch lubnaig on saturday for a spot of fsihing and a carry on, any one got any tips for this loch, what bait have you been using, were u down the bottom or using at bubble with a big droppper any tips will come in handy to catch a gid amount of fish

has any one been to loch lubnaig fishing, and if so what have u caught

 

 

been there a few times, good place if you can get it to yourself otherwise in the good weather its swamped with tourists and people swiming init. try to get to the part of the loch where the river runs into it coming from calander (i think its called the river loony ?)

 

the best way to fish is ledgering with swim feeder and maggots theres some decent brownies and arctic char to be had init also worms dont work on the trout here

 

no pike at all either

 

never even seen a roach

well just back fi loch lubnaig, i caught probally about a pond n a half brownie on ma cuzins rod while he was sleepin, as well as a eel, we both missed out on two good trout going back in a couple of weeks, can any one tell me where i can get my hands on better hooks, cause the ones i was using wernt that very sharp
