Hi all,

Couple more i've taken recently. The damsel was a few weeks ago but I never posted a decent shot. The other..was after the rain yesterday, was just playing about but quite liked it.

Info as follows CJS2 - not sure how much of it is of use :)

The lense was the Sigma 70-300 DG APO (with macro on) - this does a maximum of 1:2. I've literally just ordered a Tamron 90mm 1:1 macro lense which will allow me to get alot closer / better magnification. Should be fun :)

Interesting Eatlard. I have had my eye on a Tamron 90 for a long time, nearly pushed the boat out a couple of months ago when I bought the 70s, but me and the Sig., go back a long way. Curently use a Sig, 70-300 APO, NiKon D70s. Be very interested in seing the results when you get the Tamron.

That second shot is superb well done and thanks for posting.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

Superb work with the damselfly. They are so hard to get as they constantly flit around. I spent the best part of last summer trying to get one of these (couldn't even get close to the dragonflies), and failed miserably.

Great stuff! :)
