A friend has won a copy (legal) of CS2 and has offered to let me use it on my PC. I know it has to be registered to activate, so if I do this on my pc, will he then be able to put it on his laptop and activate?

That would require two licences for CS2 Den, and if your friend tried to activate it after you had already, adobe would block it.

Steve, met "my best buddy" :) today and advised him to load it on his first, and then I will try it on mine.

 

Probably won't work :) but nothing ventured:)
