OI OI,

im suprised you haven't had more posters but jevs (andy) is spot on with a 13ft waggler you can fish almost anywhere with that sort of set up, argos floats another good idea enough floats to cover all most everything lakes, river, commercial waters, so stick with the waggler,

oh & if you talk to the fishermen on the bank someone will alway's be only glad to help you with all there fishing knowledge, so go & talk to them they dont bite, hopefully only the fish will good-luck my friend.

:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

P.S. buy yourself the angling times or mail, or improve your coarse fishing, check em out for advice.

wait till fi-o-mania has finished and then there may be more posters!!!

but anyway if you post your rough location on here you may find someone local who will be willing to show you the ropes.

I personally think that the starter stuff is ideal. It contains most of the terminal tackle you need and you have a seat with it (the box). You could of course just go to one of your local tackle shops and ask how much they would be prepared to charge for a similar set up.

Or, you could go out and get all the top of the range stuff, look like the dogs danglies, spend an absolute fortune and then not catch a thing for 6 months and pack it all in.

You will, as you get more into the hobby, start to "upgrade" your gear. You might take up carp fishing or barbel fishing in which case, you will need more powerful rods etc.

Good luck

Andy
