Going boat fishing

Heading to Penarth, South Wales for my first boat trip Sunday with a load of lads from another forum.

Funnily enough it was with Lady Helen.

 

A great day, with over 40+ smoothies landed as well as a few strap congers, some baby tope and one sorry pouting.

 

The fish were taken on a mixture of lug, prawn, live peeler and squid.

Mike is getting a new cat next year to replace his present boat. When I went out with them, there was an awful lot that they did right about the trip as a whole. Glad you had a good day. Which forum?
