Looking for something a bit better than a brolley for day sessions.

Any comments on it or another alternative.

Hi Guy's,

Thanks for the advise, will check them out, ideally want something that I could do a night session in if I felt that way inclined.

What about the JRC Dave Lane STI Brolly? A bit more money

The Korum Day Shelter might be worth a look if you're after something between a brolley and a full-scale bivvy:

A bed chair can't fit in the Korum shelter as one of my mate brought one and try it out and took the lot back to the shop because it was unstable (even the pegs was in)!

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

"Even a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work."

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

This bivvy looks just what I am after. How good is it and how easy is it to put up ? Is it good enough for a night session ?

Hi Guy's,

Sorry been away for a few days, thanks for all the replies.

I actually bought the JRC Stealth Zipped brolley:-

http://www.jrcproducts.com/viewProducts.as...e=&PageNo=7

Was very happy, was quick to put up, nice and tall but it did leak slightly from the stitching around one of the base supports so it's going back. :wallbash:

May get another though cos it's a really nice bit of kit, maybe I just got a Friday afternoon one.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))
