Interesting article about a cougar attack in British Colombia. According to a Smithsonian Magazine article this month, the big cats are moving east across North America, and that there have been 11 fatal attacks since 1990. I happened to spot one back in 1991 twenty miles north of the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan's upper peninsula, in a rural wooded area. It was like seeing a ghost - I did a double take and it vanished.

Love the outlook on life, seems to me that kid will grow up pretty well balanced :)
