A NEW lure system that sends signals in all directions to bring in fish has created a major “BUZZ” as researches in Alaska and Scotland continue proving that it works, perhaps too well, according to a report from Florida.

Demands for samples of SONARLURE crashed the website with 11,282 in one hour after everyday anglers and charter operators learned about it in the Miami herald.

A version being tested to help build business for charter-boat fishing in Alaska “shocked” operator bob swift, a six-boat operator, as it regularly brought in giant catches. Similar results in a commercial fishing operation off the Shetland Islands also confirmed its effectiveness.

James- I think Challenge is based in Whitby (or somewhere cold like that), but not the US!

 

Challenge- thought that was a link to an electronic lure that was being touted a few years ago!!

 

Looks interesting. My parents brought me back a lure from alaska called a 'buzz bomb' which is also based on vibrations, so must be their thing in that area.

I've had Buzz Bombs for about 20 years, must be obsolete by now, although they still catch fish.

is it a plug with a bead inside ,nothing new in vibratory devices ask any call girl ,DOH i wondered why my mrs insisted on that sonic toothbrush ,i justknew in theback of my mind she wasent the only person that had mouth hair

My local tackle shop has had a 'New Plug' on its counter for a few months now, it has a small flashing led light and is supposed to also an ultrasonic sound system (drum n bass )

 

Anyway, if its ultrasonic, were humans aint ever gonna hear it, so how do you prove to a sceptic such as myself it works, secondly, bass are very suspicious creatures, so i doubt they'll grab anything with flashing headlamps

 

finallly, new innovations tend to cost big $$$'s, so as someone said earlier, I think these gadgets are designed to catch anglers n not fish

 

however, I/we may well yet be proved wrong (glup rubber baits seem to be doing the business and everyone sneered at that idea)
