I think the greatest program for finding the little nasty's is Ewido. I run it every couple of days and it finds maybe 15 to 30 infections each time.

Cheers........HB

15 to 30 infections ever few days, thats not right m8, sounds almost like that ewido is emebelishing its results or your a total porn addict, if you are a porn addict id suggest firefox to stop those IE exploits.

best to dat i would have to go with Si and say nod32 i got it on all my office pc's and work tremendusly, also spybot is another cracker. also pete some AV's will only pick up viruses not spyware. its sort of 2 diffrent types of infections.

G-day Andy. Hahah, no, not porn addict mate. And we run firefox just about 100% of the time. I think the infected files (if that what they're called) might just be files that are touched by the same pop up? Does that sound possible?

We do surf the net a hell of alot tho. The ones that I might follow links on would be if I see something on youtube that i want to check out more of, sometijme ending in dodgy places but not often.

Oh, and we download from Limewire quite a bit.

Anyway, thats what I get. We dont have any PC problems tho. I scan with AVG a couple of times per week and havent got anything yet. Spybot comes up with 3 or 4 every week or two.

Cheers...........HB

limewire is fine if your careful, check fiule size on some of the downloads if you see a lot thats only like 197kb and ex\ctly the same size those ones are usualy spyware, and if a file size is larger than it should be or less than it should be its usualy a virus aswel

E-Mule is a good bet instead of Limewire-easy to use aswell. You can get it from source forge for free- as with all share ware-make- sure you scan the files before opening them

limewire is riddled with allsorts [not the liqorice type]

try using summat else

Its only riddled on the free version only.

If you have the pro version (like I do), you don`t get many results that are fake, and those that are, are eaily recognisable
