How's this for a toad in the hole!

Never had one mutate quite like this before and it’s not done yet! Tried a simple recipe for the first time, two eggs in a measuring jug, then an equal amount of milk and the same again of flour;

Try a sponge cake

WOW, Not enough info though.. Need the following

 

size of pan, was oil used, temp, time, how many snags

my mind not only wanders-- sometimes it leaves completely.

Mixture whisked by hand not machine, duck fat pre-heated until spitting in a tray 8" x 4", sausages browned in a frying pan and then added to the tray with the mixture, cook for half an hour at 200 degrees. A far cry from my usual flat pancake yorkshire puds.
