I'm not getting my Yak till december (redundancy payment not till then), bloody shame as I have loads of pike tackle rods reals etc which you lot could have borrowed. Still guess this won't be the only trip arranged.

Yeah, pencil me in for a definite maybe as well. Never caught pike in the UK. How many does the lodge sleep?

Oh I don't know - am tempted to ask a mates wife to come pike chasing after she helped with Sunday's one (and got really excited having a follow bringing my other line in!). Not bad for a non-fisher - though she did work for CEFAS.

Sounds an interesting trip, I have been considering targeting the pike on my local river Hull this season (probably around the Hempholme lock area). For those who are not to sure on fishing for/handling pike then go to this website look at pike fishing information on the left hand bar, it will tell you all you need to know.
