I really miss my small stream fishing, but Wingham has bewitched me. Perch and chub are the archetypal species of our local small streams. Both can grow to specimen size in the smallest of such waters, but few anglers target them. Those who do fish such waters often have no idea that they contain specimens - usually because they've spooked the fish even before wetting a line!

 

Here's to an even bigger perch - I bet it won't be long before you catch one!
