Having seen the rumours of a 6lber from the Thames, I also came across a comment that said the current record is 5lb 15oz. Is this true? Where's it from? I thought it was still 5lb 9oz from that lake in Kent.

Some of those records are quite funny and with some persistance I think could quite easily be broken, I may even have a go at the Stickleback record when i'm next on the Lea with the kids and the nets lol!!

I suppose it's obvious now thinking about it, but it never even occurred to me that the captor of a fish caught in Northern Ireland could claim the British record
