With six first choice players injured, their replacements were absolutely splendid in trouncing Wales 21-16 this evening, Even that score did not do the English XV justice.

They did well, I felt they hung on to the Welsh during the first half but took total control of the second. Whatever the English team had for half time refreshments certainly worked.

...and the opening Welsh try was a bit dodgy, I thought "hands in the scrum" and so said the commentator 5 seconds later, but the ref thought not.

 

Hence my feeling that 21-16 did not do England justice.

Dead right about the hands in the scrum...watching with 3 blokes, and we all shouted at the ref

 

Also, the pathetic gamesmanship at the start....didn't do the welsh any good did it.

The only sport the welsh have of any significance is rugby so it’s always a joy to beat them, it just saddens the whole nation of barbarians and keeps them under control by their masters
