Medium Baitrunners!

forgot to add this but I wouldn't recommend the 8000 or the older 8010 baitrunners reels as they are too big for the Drennan series7 1.75 avons rods

Growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional

Hmm I have got some old 4010's and 6010's that I relegated to the storage cupboard when I bought the new ones (DL series I think - the horrid dark blue plasticy ones)

Maybe I should just get them out and give em a clean and lube!

I'd deffo get the old 4010's or / and the 6010's Mat. You'll probably know the 6010's are the same reel as the 8010's but the spool's not so deep so it holds less line. I've used GTE 8000's on 1.75lb rods and they've been sound.

I would Mat, they're going to be better than anything you buy new, unless you're prepared to spend a lot of money. If they need a bit of TLC, Shimano should be able to give them a service, or Budgie might still do that stuff too (he serviced mine a few years back).

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
