Thinking of using Mozzila Thunderbird, but canot make my mind up just yet.

 

What are the pro's and con's of using thunderbird please..

Can i import my contacts, is it easy to navigate, can i access my e mail anywhere etc.

Been using it for years with no problem ,use moz backup as well and save your mail and settings (and firefox as well) but its based on the machine its installed on so its just a case of going to your mail server for mail when your not on your pc.

No android version unfortunately i use blue mail on my android rubbish tablet but its a large install ,no idea what the playbook uses but its the esiest of the lot

I rarely go to bt for my mail ,as long as you have delete from server then deleted here (or words to that effect) unticked if you accidentally delete or your pc dies all the mail is intact on the server

Disable return receipts as well wink

Get the Lightning add in as well and it gives you virtually all the diary and appointment functionality of Outlook.
