I wonder if that was his own fly, could have got quite nasty if it was someone elses and they continued the cast into the water.

It never ceases to amaze me how many fly anglers still refuse to wear glasses when fishing. The worst culprit seems to be Paul Young in his "Hooked on Fishing" tv show.

holy crap, i was just starting to get into fly fishing at the end of summer, ill be wearing eye protection next time i go flyin,...... damn man like ant said he aint usualy squimesh and neither am i but that was close to being tortured
