Anyone came across a Deal?

Im hearing one of my mates found a "Deal Fish" dead on the shore .... about 2 foot in length. Got it ID'd from some fisheries place.

 

Anyone ever seen one in UK waters?

Never even heard of one Gillies. Did he take a photo of it? Would be nice to see.

I am curious to see it myself, so will try and get hold of photo ... the fish is in his freezer just now.
