Ok, I'll come clean....I have spoken to Mark Lloyd CEO of the Angling Trust

ok then Nick, I already receive their news letter by email.

I thought TAT was going to open the door for proper communication with the rsa, not a sanitised version of what they want the rsa to hear from them. Are they also going to head this up with their existing team of 3 because none of them are rsa reps, nor do they have the wit or knowledge to actually work with the real rsa.

So has TAT spoken with bullshine where the ceo claims on one hand communication is a huge problem for them, but offer nothing or no dedicated rsa reps in reply, something don't ring true to me. 2 million plus turnover with no rsa representation is not what I would class as a benefit for rsa. More of the same then.

Barry, I spoke to Mark Lloyd a week ago, since then he has sent me a number of e-mails, I've just been too busy to keep on top of everything to keep the whole planet up to date with everything. I understand your reticence and, as you and everybody else that knows me are aware, I am definitely not the AT's number one fan.

However, I am going to give him (personally) the benefit of the doubt, until such time as he gives me good reason not to and, I am going to do everything possible to communicate with Mark Lloyd and act as a "conduit" for that communication to the wider angling world.

IF it has any positive effect on comms between the AT and anglers then I will be satisfied. He has agreed in principal to a simple polling function for those subscribing to the newsletters and, is in discussion regarding more. I also have acknowledgements from Mike Thrussell Jr. and Dave Barham to publicise the AT's "willingness" to communicate and, both are prepared to give them space in their respective media outlets.....if the AT fail to come up with some reasonable two way commnication then, I'm sure both Mike and Dave will be more than happy to say that RSA gave them the chance by making the effort!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

he's on notice then, he needs to come up with something pretty sharpish and he needs to offer something better for the rsa than his org has at the moment, no reps, 6 years they have been going you think they would have something positive for the rsa by now. It's really not good enough in my book. Thrussell is two faced as far as I'm concerned. Funny how he actually bothered to acknowledge I even existed for the first time ever, just to carry on to explain I was an arse on his web site without the time of day to prove how much of an arse I was because he don't want to waste valuable time. In other words there wasn't any evidence, no deletions and no warnings and no discussion or communication what so ever of why I was locked out and even to the extent of saying it wasn't due to TAT wanting a platform. I don't believe or accept bullshine, don't care who they claim they are.

Being a cynic and I am 100% positive, TAT are chasing funding from the green org and ngo's first, rsa come down at the bottom of the list, that's for sure. That's why Mitchell's job title changed. They need to either step up to the plate re rsa or get off the pot.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
