Big Brother Auditions

Yep, it’s that time already… Big Brother 8 auditions are on their way!

Big Brother is back and the call for contestants can only mean one thing… Channel 4 will be holding open auditions for the show around the UK & Ireland. So, for anyone out there who thinks that they can bring something extra special to the house, it’s their time to turn up and show us why.

The auditions kick off early next year and the first stop on the audition trail will be Glasgow, followed by Cardiff, Newcastle, Birmingham, Dublin, Manchester and London.

Out of the thousands who turn up, Big Brother will need to see what makes that one person stand out from the throng. Anyone lucky enough to be selected will go through to the next stage where they will meet the Big Brother producers, and go all out to impress. This is where they’ll need to convey just why the nation would want to tune into them over the summer.

All applicants must be aged over 18 in the summer of 2007 and available to take part all summer 2007. Those turning up to audition will be required to take photo ID (such as a passport or driving license) as proof of age and identity. No ID, no entry. Applicants are advised to wrap up warm and bring something to eat and drink, as it could be a long day.

Any applicants who have specific access requirements should call 0207 602 6261 and leave their name and telephone number. A member of the production team will get back to them with details.

Audition dates

Glasgow SECC 6th and 7th Jan

Cardiff City Hall 10th and 11th Jan

Newcastle St James Park 21st and 22nd Jan

Birmingham Think Tank 27th and 28th Jan

Dublin RDS 31st Jan

Manchester New Century House 3rd and 4th Feb

London ExCel 10th and 11th Feb.

Never watch it, but am aware of it as it seems every newspaper and even the BBC is determined to ram it down our throats. :yucky:

Are you trying to encourage some Angler's Netsters to participate ? :) If so, which ones? :)

I have this idea that a fishing programme could be run on similar lines. Angling "celebrities" would take part, and whilst fishing they could harangue the audience on their angling skills and which tackle to buy.

At the end of the programme the "expert" who had annoyed the audience most and collected the votes to show it could be chucked in the river

Nomiations are open!

I dont usually watch these sort of shows but I've got to fess up. I'm a huge BB fan (Oz show though). Dont ask me why, it just gets me in and I'm hooked. Maybe its the catchy tune they use on ours.

Trying to put 2 and 2 together probably totally wrong,

Jeepster is big brother watching you?
