I must go down to the sea again

To the lonely sea and sky

I left my shoes and socks there

I wonder if they're dry?

I'm off until the 5th.

So that will be Kimmeridge then. (tomorrow)

Launch early, the ranges are closed so will give the area the once over. again

Fished since 2003, the rest of my life I just wasted.

I was supposed to go to work today but had problem with the car. By the time it was sorted I'd missed the last boat (what a shame) so I spent all day tinkering with me tackle(fishing tackle that is) and getting ready for the next fishing trip.

Sod the cuppa, it will soon be time for a pint :drunk:

Yep very foggy. :o But a bit special when it cleared.

Fished some new areas along Brandy Bay almost to Warbarrow. I like a bit of prospecting. Down side was only caught a couple of decent Wrasse (2.5lb). It is nearly January isn't it?

No problems with the fog. I have a route out of Kimmeridge programed into the GPS so just followed that. Bit wierd thou. My nav light decided not to work so had to make a mad 2 and half mile dash back before darkness. Great workout managed to average 4.8mph, pretty knackered at the end thou I was wanting to fish for a couple of hours more to see if I could get my first winter pollock.

The fog came down about a mile from the slip. I just called up the GPS on the finder and followed the outward trace back in. It landed me right on the slipway  Great bit of kit. Had it not been for the GPS I would not have gone out.

The water was like a mill pond and not another boat in sight. I have some photos on my phone will try to down load them at some point.

For the record, contrary to web and press info there will be no more firing on Lulworth Ranges until Jan 3rd. So it is happy fishing. :clap2:

Nice one Darnsarf,

December /January is notorious for big ballan's, a lot of specimen hunters hit Portland this time of year for the really big buggers.
