Simple maths... you will always get a number that is divisible by 9 - if you look through the list of numbers those divisible by 9 always have the same symbol each time you play...

The answer that you get by going though their bit of mathmatical jiggery pokery will always be divisible by 9: 9, 18, 27, 36 etc.

For most of the numbers on the chart, the symbol is always going to stay the same but for those that are divisible by 9, the symbol changes each time you go onto the site or hit the "try again" buton. Because the symbol changes each time you cycle through, it gives the impression that there is some random element to the numbers that you can choose. There isn't - for instance, no combination two digits will ever lead you to select 80, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88 or 89 from the symbol chart but 81 will come up with no problem.
