TAT are arranging restrictions for our angling following private conversations amongst themselves. They bothered no rsa what so ever before they started the ball rolling rushing off to parliament, screaming for bass restrictions using dodgy info.

 

Keep it out in the open I say more openness and accountability the better.

 

The u k has just had an open and free referendum, the rsa get nothing apart from sneaky, pathetic poor representation at best, followed by unwarranted, unrealistic restrictions. Go read Norms post re restrictions it's the truth, nothing hidden nor private.

Those b...........ds are claiming to represent the rsa, no one has asked them to. And they don't have an open channel to the rsa, never have. So they are a pie in the sky selfish org, except they are being paid monies by ngo's with regards to so called conservation and as such have the governments ear by the back door and offer up the rsa industry on a plate for restriction.

 

They are nothing short of gutless, pathetic and faceless while causing damage to an industry that ain't broke or needs their sort of fixing.

 

One good thing as the vote is out of the euopeon nightmare, TAT can no longer drag the rsa into the mire of the commons fishery policy and as such there is no need for TAT to pump anglers monies and also ngo money into the other useless org known as the europeon anglers alliance.

I kid you not.

:hammer: I remember it well. Wasn't it a chalk stream that used to hold trout, the fluff chuckers in the AT must have taken it to their hearts and been suicidal. What wasn't revealed at the time, if I remember rightly, was that the cause of the dry streams was, his government, Labour, were letting the water companies exceed the agreed maximum take from rivers sooner than apply water restrictions and increase investment in reservoirs and underground storage facilities. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story, or a political point. :clap3:
