I have a large pond with a considerable number of Koi carp of varying sizes, some of them very large. I need to redevelop the area with the pond, can anyone advise the best way of selling the fish? I am in Kent.

Possibly your local Koi centre will take them off your hands, altho' many are reluctant because of contamination risks.

Otherwise, an ad in your local paper may bring results from a collector or someone who is just starting up.:rolleyes:

But why are you selling them ??? I have just transported a large number of carp several hundred miles. They have been placed in a large inflatable paddling pool until I can get their new home finished. This cost me £10 from a local car boot sale. This has been ongoing for some 3 months now, and the fish are still fine, and enjoying their paddling pool !!!:thumbs:

I am also in Kent, to me the specialist Koi Retail outlets may be interested as your price requirement maybe lower than commercial breeders, try a Google for them.

I also have a rod and line to help you catch them.

Regards.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.
