What would you do if you had invented a renewable energy supply that only produces power at times of peak demand, could be installed in practically every home/business in the country, costs only a few hundred pounds to supply & fit, would run itself maintenance free for about 15 years & is about the size of a coconut ?

Don't tell anyone about it, not even your mates down the pub. If you do the details are public and you will be stuffed for patenting it. I think Dr. Emmett Brown had already invented the Flux Capacitor though?

spend thousands on worldwide patents to keep the utility companies from stealing it and getting it patented then hiding it ,then standby and watch china make millions without paying a penny.

try and find someone who can protect you and your invention, ptent first though im not sure if patenting would do any good, after all there is more than likely people like freakin oil barrons and such who wouldnt like to see it.
