We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Scrap the planned vehicle tracking and road pricing policy.

The idea of tracking every vehicle at all times is sinister and wrong. Road pricing is already here with the high level of taxation on fuel. The more you travel - the more tax you pay.

It will be an unfair tax on those who live apart from families and poorer people who will not be able to afford the high monthly costs.

Please Mr Blair - forget about road pricing and concentrate on improving our roads to reduce congestion.

not one ill be signing then, i think that they need to do away with the road tax and bring this in, that way mr suit who travels 200 miles a week will pay more than mrs oap who drives to town once a week.

ie the more roads you use the more you pay, and its one you can evade as easiley.

And the answer if you dont want to pay it, dont drive use public transport.

how about i set up a petition for banning road tax in favour of this new poilcy

and why does mrs oap drive to town?.....shopping?

I wonder if the cost of the things mrs oap buys on her once a week shop will go up as the bloke who takes the goods to town has just drove 200m and has to go back as well.

so please explain then, why should someone pay road tax to use a car once a week, when a sales rep (used as example) travels thousands of miles a year pays the same, Road tax is there to support the rebuilding and building of new roads. so if you use them more pay more, dont want to pay dont drive

And as for suppliers you will see them get a special rate the same as they do for the congestion zone, or there will be times where its not in force

There are currently in excess of 385,000 sigs on this petition with an end date of 20 Feb so there is strong feeling against paying up to £1.30/mile to travel on roads that we already pay for via fuel tax and vehicle excise duty. Oh sorry I forgot,Tony's lot said they would probably reduce the rate of fuel tax and road fund licence if road pricing was introduced.Yeah right,of course they would.

The plan is apparently to introduce the tax country wide at varying rates depending on the levels of congestion but there is no zero rate for areas where there is no congestion.Do you live in one of those?

so realy what your saying is that some one who relies on their car to get work should pay more than some one who just uses the car once a week for the odd shopping trip.

yes someone who uses their car to get to work should pay more than someone who uses their car once a week, simple reason is they use it more!

Yes there is no planed zero rate AREAS, but you can rest assured there will be ZERO rate TIMES, esp for the lorries etc delivering stock to shops etc. Just the same as there is in london, Just the same as there is in other countries. The government would soon back down against tescos, sainsbury's and the like once they say right we got to put prices up to cover these costs.

a thin bit of lead wrapped around the box will stop any snoop doing anything.

pointless petitioning anything ,the council tax is hated by most yet it exists ,ever increasing tax and other hidden taxes is hated by the majority ,the huge petrol duty is hated by the majority etc etc so why would they take notice of anyone to prevent their endless plotting to subjugate us

I less then ten years i have done more than one mil miles. In that time i pay my yearly road tax, i also pay a heck of a lot of tax on the fuel i use. Therefore the more miles iv'e done the more tax i have paid. Very fair.

A lot of people especially the elderly and the young have great reservation using the bus and tube in london. The majority of these feel intimidated by the abuse a lot of the teenagers get upto and they are disgustingly dirty. The conjestion charge is a farce, daylight robbery, the 501 ringroad around the conjestion zone is a carpark area and we have paid our taxes to use this route. The congestion zone is a no-go area. It's not in force if you wish to travel at night or first thing in the morning, making sure you are out of the area before it comes into force. This is what mr livingstone has created as well as the jobs for the boys out of our money. Do you want the same?

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

it wouldnt be the same would it. As everywhere would be covered by the same charge so there is no real zones. either way you got to pay.

As it was said earlier, the government would have to reduce the tax on fuel, and abolish the road fund tax. But i think this way is much better,

or the best way yet, is do away with road tax, put a small charge to enter the citys and increase the levy on fuel. that way no one can avoid it. if you drive more you pay more. You want to drive into the city rather than use park and ride you pay.

What about those of us who live in the country and need cars to live. We don't have the choice to use public transport and we don't have any traffic congestion, we are already paying more for fuel and having to do more miles so why should we have to pay even more. Added to which, this is yet another opportunity for this government to spy on what we do and where we go. How easy it would be to calculate your speed over a given distance, work out you were speeding and send you the bill. You could rack up enough points to disqualify you in one day and before you were even aware of it. You think cameras are bad <_<

All they would have to do is put a chip in your identity card and they can follow your every move. They would have you taped - literally.
