Been thinking about making a display lighting system for my tanks.

I know the power of LED's is only low and not much use for plant growth(have lighting for that)but fancied the low power/low light for night time effects.

Just ordered some LED's, 10 x blue, 10 x white, 10 x green and 10 x UV.

Got some 470k resistors so they can be run via a 12v dc supply.

I will be running one set via 3v dc and no resistors, only cos I have a spare power supply.

Anyhow was wondering if anyone else uses LED's in thier tank.

Oh and my set ups will be over the top of the tank but as close to the water as possible, ie not water proof. :)
