You could keep fish in a bucket Judy.

As long as the water is kept clean and aireated(sp) they will be fine.

Think goldfish bowl, I know not perfect but fish can live a very long time in one.

What are you thinking?

Outside pond in your garden?

Mine at my old address(must move it some time) is about 5/6 foot long, 3 foot wide and a couple of feet deep.

Raised with a dry brick wall around the outside.

One good filter driven by a pump/foutaine(sp).

My fish breed in there so they must be happy.

Loads of plant life in there which encouraged loads of insect life.

I hardly feed the fish. :D

(Brain not engaging with fingers and took nearly ten mins to post this, must go to bed. )

You have to be careful with really shallow ponds in the summer, as they evaporate quickly!

When I was a kid, my mate kept sticklebacks in a sunken baby bath. We used to fish stickleback matches in it, hookless of course. Extra points for newts! :yeah:

Why did Newt get extra points, just because he's a mod?
