LOL Trouble is....... I don't HAVE a closed season, Bass to catch, trout to catch, even still-water perch to catch. I think I have done my share of make and mend so if the choice is between tackle repair and going fishing there is only one winner.

 

I admire the spirit of thrift though - one of the reasons I can afford to fish is that very rarely do I buy new shoes - if I can't see my feet through the soles then they will do for another year or two.
