BT is getting worse:

Funnily enough, when I visit their site I am told that I should get between 7-8mb if I sign up today!

I'm on the phone to them right now. Apparently, there is a fault here at our exchange and we're arranging an engineer to call me today. Even if it was working properly, they say the best I can get is about 6-meg. I'd take that right now, for sure!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

I feel your pain Chris to only get a paltry 6.8 Mbps download speed. I just ran mine and had a blazing 1.4 Mbps download speed. We have a nominal 3 Mbps line here but it never approaches that speed for any users since it is a shared WiFi system. The company recently tried an upgrade (for a nice monthly fee increase) to 6 Mbps but things went all to hell and they had to back it off to 3 Mbps again.

Mine is being throttled at 500kbps! Apparently, the IP profile has been amended and it should change soon.
