Mine's BT.

This site also gives you the distance to your exchange, and how fast your line could be plus some cheaper faster providers available on that line.

Your speed test result: 1.3 Mb (I'm still on 1 mb, waiting for my free upgrade to 2 mb, so 1.3 isn't too bad :) but it's best to do a number of tests as the speed can go up and down quite a lot)

According to BT wholesale, your line should be able to support a 6.3 Mbps ADSL connection via ADSL max

The following services are available to you: ADSL MAX

Virgin Media cable

Be Broadband LLU

You are connected to the Rainham telephone exchange

You are approximately 612 metres from the exchange (straight line distance)

Using the link that Leon posted it told me my speed was 1.6mb, my connection is up to 2.0 mb and that is the slowest I've ever recorded.

The link in the very first post post told me my speed was 1.9mb, and a second test on the first link just gave me 2.2mb.

All three tests done in the last five minutes.

ISP is IDNet, the best customer service of any ISP I've ever used, if you need to phone them, a real person answers the phone, almost immediately.

I really do recommend them if you're looking to change, take a look at their client list, it includes the BBC, De Beers, the DTI, Hewlett Packard and Yamaha among others.
