Only 62 years old, I always thought that you were bloody ancient! A mere spring chicken.

I Act older and meaner ,i have noticed in life the nice people die young!

I treat everyday as my last ,one day it will be!

69 and seemingly younger than Chesters!!

Chesters, re that book. Perhaps you could publish it as an 'E' book. I only say that because I doubt that there would be sufficient interest to warrant a printed book. Trouble that us old tw#tts that were weaned on Intrepid tackle are now dying off. Be a pity to waste all that hard work.

Trouble is its not the printing issue its far from complete ,it would annoy me not finishing completely the entkre history and the pictures to go with it and some bugger pointing out i had missed a bit ,i would rather die before doing a quick job but at least the archive is in one place not skipped as it was rescued from when BFR went to china

You'll just have to title it the 'Incomplete History of K.P.Morritt!' Bug#er the critics, at least you will have created something worthwhile whilst they sat on their arses.

Morritt is easy ,just one reel and one? Box to find but intrepid goes far beyond morritt ,the reels are easy the bits with them a nightmare

As the boxes were not in the advertising and uncatalogued i dont know how many versions there were ,in the 60's and later there is a distinct set of designs which could be across the board for the reels but i could be wrong ,only time will reveal all

I have decided to stop at 1992 (surprised?) the tradename still exists but the link to intrepid/bfr now gone ,theoretically the reels are still being made as all bfr's cnc machines went to china

Dave, if you do it as an e-book you could always add to it as you get more information. You couldn't do this with a printed book unless you did a second edition.
