That would surely have made accurate casting more than a bit difficult so I think you made a good decision.

If you're going to fish anywhere Phone, the water needs to be at ground level, not still up in the clouds - I think you made the right decision. ;)

Fished Sandwich bay today in 45/50mph winds. Fortunately over my shoulder, but still pretty hairy :)
