up here in scrabster on a good day id say between 100-300 fish on board.

Went out from Poole on Monday, we had roughly...

 

50 Mackies

20 Doggies

6 Garfish

20 Black Bream to 3lb

1 Undulate Ray - 11lb 6oz

1 Cuttlefish

 

6 lads on the boat

demon Weymouth 12th May on inshore wrecks:-

12 pollock (5-9lb)

1 Bass (3 1/2lb)

20+ Mackeral

5 Dogs

3 Pout

25th April offshore wrecking

 

21 Ling (9 to 17lb)

aprox

18 mackeral

8 herring

8 sandeels

1 pollack

1 queen scallop

 

8 on the boat

 

This was a half day trip

Just had 3 consecutive daytrips on our only local charter boat "Felix".

Day 1- 4 anglers. 2 Turbot @ 7lb each, 2 bass @ 3lb each and a ton of dogs.

Day 2- 3 anglers. 3 turbot @ 6,7, & 9Lb, 25 pollack to 12.5lb and a couple of mackerel.

Day 3 today. 2 anglers £uck all but 10 mackerel and a good soaking!

Not good tides, not good anglers either! Lost more turbot at the net than we boated

well from what ive read so far i would expect better value than that for my forty or so quid, if i was to take up a regular charter booking, i dont count scotland to far for me to go for a bit of sport...
