DavidWliilamson 0
This was an article in my local paper The Ayrshire Post the local farmer is fed-up with the amount of rubbish left and damage done to his property, the people involved should note that this is one of the few FREE fishing spots that is good for pike, perch and roach. I just wish people would clean up after them self and not leave hooks and line and other rubbish behind
Steve Walker 941
If I owned some fishing which I were minded to make available to the public, I'd want to do it through a club. Club waters tend to be so much better looked after and less littered than free or day ticked waters (possibly because they often have a Chesters lurking to dispense summary justice!) Elton 172
I know you shouldn't have to, but it may be worth getting a few anglers together to do an organised (and well publicised) clear-up. At least you'd be showing the farmer that we aren't all bad. That idea has all ready been though of I-am going to try and get hold of the local pike club and see what they say as well as volunteering my services as well thank for the though :)
Andy Macfarlane 58
David, I don't drive but I'm not a million miles away from Ayrshire. If you want to organise a clean-up, let me know and I'll see what I can do about getting along for a clean-up, a social? (lunch or a Bar-B, beers etc.) and maybe a chit-chat with some like-minded anglers.
