Reducing picture size

If i have a digital photo on my PC that is 2.44mB how do i reduce it too 300k to be able to upload to A.N.

 

Do i need to buy a program?

If you open the programme and look around you should be able to work it out, Once the image is opened, try either Image, then Image size, probably on top margin somewhere. Sorry, not familiar with this programme, but feel sure that someone will jump in here and help. I know that others on here use that software. If you do a search you may even find the correct answer your looking for.

Managed to sort it out thanks,

 

But how do you upload a pic to a thread without it being a thumb nail or reduced pic?

You need to use a picture host such as Photobucket or Imageshack (I use photobucket), then copy the URL, and in the addreply box click on the icon to the right of smiley face, a box pops up, paste url, then type reply or add reply.
